capitol of Wisconsin and home to the University of Wisconsin
and its 40,000 students. Our city is situated in the middle
of farmland, an oasis of culture, politics, and academics.
At just over 400,000 people in our greater metropolitan area,
very few cities of this size offer the high quality of life

finest farmer's market in the country, there is always something
to do in Madison. Symphony, ballet and theater abound—with
a new Fine Arts Center under construction. Madison offers
much outdoor recreation as we're surrounded by four lakes,

a bicycle? Wait until you see our bike paths! Are you someone
who enjoys winter sports? We believe our cross-country skiing
is the finest and most scenic in America. And besides all
that, where else can you see a kite festival on top of a frozen
